I’m serious about what I do…but don’t take myself too seriously.
I’ve always felt creative, but didn’t consider myself a creative until my thirties. I was the college athlete and chemistry nerd who carried a journal of overly emotional poems everywhere she went. That blend of being operationally-minded and creatively-wired caused me to feel torn for more years than I want to admit, but ultimately, I discovered that crafting words and plans on specific platforms at the right time is an incredibly creative work.
I live in the Chicagoland area with my husband and three daughters. We love bike rides and coffee shops. I’m not an animal person, but I have a cat named Kiwi that was the kitten of a cat (named Eleanor) that I rescued after work one day.
I work at Willow Creek Community Church as the Marketing, Communications, and Digital Pastor, and I have the pleasure of working alongside a team of brilliant artists (the operational, photographical, written, and design types). I consider it an honor to do work that brings people closer to hope, healing, and Jesus.
I love helping businesses and individuals navigate the complex world of communicating effectively. What you say and how you say it has the opportunity to build trust…or dig you into a hole. Let’s do the first.
